This is a hot topic, and one close to my phucked up heart.
My understanding of thatsphucked is that its the grotesque and sick humour that attracts most people. It certainly did me and I have been frequenting the site for a while, though this is the first thing I've signed up to comment about. There is nothing humorous about watching a dog getting clubbed with a shovel, and then howling in pain as it is repeatedly beaten with said shovel, and then when the person orchestrating such a horrific attack realises that the animal isn't dying quick enough, leaves the poor thing to struggle in pain.
Animals can't defend themselves against humans, usually. We have knives and guns and opposable thumbs for gripping things to whack them in the head with. They have claws and teeth, that's true, but very few domesticated animals, such as dogs and cats, which frequent the large percentage of the cruelty videos we see will use them unless they're truely threatened. Needless to say, despite being someone who is avid in their stance in animal welfare and someone who has owned many dogs over the course of their life, if I were being attacked by one I'd beat the fucker off me with whatever was nearest. This is not the case in the videoclips. Very often, the animal is either restrained by a human (ie, dog thrown off bridge, when it is in his arms), or minding their own business, chilling by a wall. Babies, or an unarmed person, say, aren't able to defend against someone armed with a knife, or a gun, as we see in execution videos, unless they're a ninja of epic skillz or some kind of Chuck Norris-esque being, yet the argument for those people is not that they belong to a species of the most epic predators of all time, or that they too eat meat which is what the human body is comprised of.
However, we don't really disassociate them from our own pets (The animals in the clips, not the babies and people.

), which is probably why most people find it hard to stomach watching something like this, and so why it is easier to watch violence against humans as opposed to animals. What I would say is that animals will very rarely bring anything to our lives except companionship and affection, whereas humans often just cause more pain to one and other than is worth. (Yes, that old biscuit!)
I personally have voted against. Not because I'm a pussy vegetarian (which I am, tbqh.), but because I think that it is detracting the impact of just how disgusting something like the videos and images depicting the maltreatment of animals actually is, and would implore others to do the same. Filming anyone or anything suffering in the manner that the creatures seem to do is despicable, and we should not be encouraging people to do as such by giving them infamy over the world wide web, even on a site as depraved as thatsphucked, as much as I love it, and yes, I do realise I've contradicted myself a bit by saying I enjoy watching all the phucked shit of human on human action but at the same time find it awful, but that's because I'm also human and not a phucking martyr, and it's in my nature to giggle my ass off at a guy having a jar burst in his ass yet at the same time be so disgusted by it that it makes me want to puke.
I would also say that if you can't be coherent and logical in your argument, whatever side it may be for, then don't bother posting. You debase the people who are fighting your side when you insult others and type like you ride the short bus just to clean the windows.
I know most people will TL;DR this, but it's always worth getting my two cents out there so I know my conscience is somewhat cleared. And now, back to watching decapitation videos.

I've edited this so many phucking times... I just keep finding more to add to the argument. >.>
Also, MrPhucked, prooobably not the best place to post the latest picture of half a dog, this is where 600+ people are currently voting to have stuff like that removed. I assume you want this topic to be a serious one, as it could shape the future of your website and you're kinda trolling peeps with that, which undermines the whole reason this topic is here in the first place.
