Ok, so im having some problems with relationships, I never was bothered before but now i feel like i should get a girlfriend instead of just being with my friends all the time.

Im not that confident about myself, im not the hottest person on the planet but i still want to me a girl that i like and build up the courage to ask her on a date.

The girl i really like has moved to a different city about 6 hours away and is 2 or 3 years old than me, I dont want to be in a relationship where i cannot see the person on a regular basis. This girl is also having trouble with relationships and says that i've helped her through alot and she is one of the people she has never lied to (apparently she lies alot)

I would like some help with meeting girls and feeling more confident in myself.

You're tellin' me... 6'3", 200 pound athletic model with horrible self-esteem... perfect for me. We actually made a booty schedule last night, hahahah. The nights before I have school in the AM and some weekends. Wonderful. It's convenient because he said I can crash over at his place and he only lives ten minutes from campus, so I don't have to fight traffic for two hours in the morning.

A piece of advice from an adult (and you'll thank me for telling you this when you get to being my age, though you'll probably never heed it): stay away from relationships, if you can and focus on setting a foundation for your future right now. I guess relationships in high school (junior or senior year) are OK unless you plan on attending college out of the area, then I would avoid it. Casual dating is OK... throughout college, dating is fine. I'm sure you have talked to other people about this and they give you an answer you don't want to hear (e.g., "you're too young for a girlfriend."), but it's true... enjoy your life now, build your friendships, your future, and all that other stuff. Make friends with girls to get to know what girls are like, but don't jump into anything "serious" until you're a little older. You don't want to grow up too fast -- trust me on this, OK? If I had listened to my own advice back then, I wouldn't be in this horrible situation that I am in now (still finishing college, living off of a low income so I have time to go to school, etc).

Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics... possibly with a minor or two in a foreign language, haven't decided yet.
